This Privacy Policy describes how Weaveit (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Devdesk (https://devdesk.weaveit.app) and related support channels.
Information we collect
- Support communications. If you email devdesk@weaveit.app or message us on Discord, we receive the content you send and your contact details.
- Supporter requests. If you become a Supporter via email, we process the amount and message you provide.
- Usage of the website. Standard server or host logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) may be collected by our hosting provider.
How we use information
- To respond to support requests and improve Devdesk
- To process Supporter contributions and related follow-up
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us host the site, send email, or process payments (when enabled), only as needed to provide those services.
Desktop app
The Devdesk desktop application may send audio to third-party speech APIs (such as OpenAI Whisper) when you use dictation and have configured an API key. That processing is governed by the third party’s policies and your own API account settings.
